Criminal Law

At Cronk Law, we use a 4-step system to get the best possible outcome for all of our clients.

1. Dismissal

We first determine if a dismissal in your case is appropriate. We will meet with the District Attorney's Office to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your case and decide if the case should be dismissed.

2. Deferral

If a dismissal is not appropriate in your case, we will next decide if we can enter into a deferred prosecution. Deferred prosecution is a way to keep your record clean by taking a class or doing community service.

3. Plea Negotiation

If a dismissal or a deferred prosecution is not appropriate in your case, we will then enter into plea negotiations with the District Attorney's Office. No plea will accepted until you agree to it.

4. Trial

Finally, if no plea is acceptable, we will then try our case in front of a Judge, and a Jury if necessary, to prove your innocence.
